The NASCAR Mexico Series Tulum Grand Prix 100 will take place on April at the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport or Tulum Airport as it known, marking a first for Quintana Roo. The race will count towards the official NASCAR Mexico Series calendar and will be part of the 2026 Tulum Air Show.
The announcement was made by organizers in coordination with Operadora de Proyectos Especiales de México, the series promoter in the country by the hand of the Secretaria de Turismo de Quintana Roo (SEDETUR). The event will be held at the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport, where a special track will be set up within the airport complex
This will be the first time this series has held an official race at an airport terminal, in a format that combines motorsports and aviation. In addition, the race will be part of the Tulum Air Show, featuring exhibitions and air shows, open for visitors of all the world with Tulum International Airport bringing together military and civilian aircraft, as well as race cars, in a single venue, according to the director of the Mexico Aerospace Fair.
When is going to be The NASCAR Mexico Series Tulum Grand Prix 100?
This spectacle is scheduled from April 23 to 26 and is proyected to be unique, uniting runaway and sky in an unprecedented experience. An attendance of approximately 50,000 spectators and the participation of between 20 and 25 vehicles are expected.
